Many animals have moods regardless if they are pets or wild. All animals, including domesticated pets have a chance to be dangerous. Here are some tips to spot and avoid a dangerous animal.

      Purchase wild animal guides. It's helpful to find a local expert or guide educated in local wildlife identification. Research an unfamiliar area if you aren't sure of which wild animals live in the area. Look for descriptions of wild animal behavior in the guide entries. Some guides may state to avoid animals at certain times such as mating season as aggression, and the danger factor increases.
